To Let: Churchill's Former Home

Churchill fans, you have a rare opportunity to live in one of Winston’s first homes (slight caveat - you will need a spare £234k to cover the years’ rent).

Once home to Winston and Clementine Churchill, the apartment comprises five bedrooms, access to the square’s communal gardens and tennis courts. It will take you just 25 minutes to walk to the Houses of Parliament, should you have designs on becoming the next Prime Minister.

The wartime Prime Minister moved into Eccleston Square in Pimlico, London, after his marriage in September 1909. Shortly afterwards his first and second children, Diana and Randolph, were born here. In just 11 months Winston had gone from bachelor, to married man, to father.
If anyone knows Boris Johnson’s phone number, it might be worth dropping him a WhatsApp, as he will be in the hunt for a new property after his recent resignation and imminent departure from Downing Street.
There’s room for a second blue plaque on the wall for Boris, should he move in…but what would it say? We’ll leave that to your imagination.

It is currently available to let by Harrods Estates, so good luck! We can all dream.
